Lion Foundation Auckland to Wellington 7 Day Cycle Challenge
Dynamo Events in association with Dynamo Cycling Club proudly presents the fourth annual Lion Foundation Wellington to Auckland Cycle Challenge. A seven day bike ride from Wellington to Auckland, open to riders of all abilities and ages.
Whether you are an elite rider who wants to race, a competitive master, or looking for a week of fun with a great group of people – the Lion Foundation Wellington to Auckland Cycle Challenge will provide you with the ideal challenge to kick off 2012 with.
The seven day event consists of thirteen stages, climbing its way from Upper Hutt through the Waiarapa to Palmerston North, meandering through Wanganui to Ohakune, hitting the Waikato and finishing in Pukekohe, Auckland.

The Rev
New for 2012 - The Lion Foundation REV Cycle Festival will be based from Cambridge for the 2012 event (and future). The REV is still a loop, starting and finishing at the same place. It maintains the essence of the previous course, but with some subtle tweeks. The biggest change is the distance - the REV 120 is now the REV 100. We still have the infamous French Pass, which riders tackle with fresh legs since it appears within the first 5km. The new course also takes riders into Matamata, then home through Scotsmans Valley.
There are also 55km and 18km courses.
