Short, medium and long distances available for individuals and tandems

Sat 10

Taumarunui Cycle Classic

The circuit consists of 114km of undulating, challenging but beautiful scenery with the race commencing and finishing in Taumarunui.

The ride takes you around what is termed locally as ‘The Ohura Circuit’ with the first 25km on SH4 after which you turn off to fast smooth country roads where, on a busy day, you may encounter 10 cars.

Lake Dunstan Cycle Challenge
96km sealed road circuit, generally flat, from Cromwell around Lake Dunstan passing through Northburn, Tarras, Luggate and back down Wanaka Road to the Cromwell Sports Club.

BDO Around the Mountain Cycle Challenge
Taranaki at its best. 74km solo, 2 x 74km relay, 148km 3 to 6 person relay, 148km progressive team relay, 148km solo

Gentle Annie Ride - Taihape to Hastings
The race distance is 136 km and there is 2452m of climbing, making this the hilliest bike ride in the country
